THE GIANT MOON
Titania is the largest moon of Uranus and one of the largest moons in the Solar System. Voyager 2 photographed Titania during its 1986 encounter with Uranus. The images reveal an ancient, heavily cratered surface crossed by enormous fault valleys. Some of these valleys extend for more than 1,000 kilometres across the moon. Titania is primarily composed of icy and rocky material and may have experienced significant geological activity in its past.
