Dwarf planets are worlds that orbit the Sun
and are massive enough for their gravity to
make them approximately round, but they have
not cleared their orbital neighbourhoods.
The five officially recognized dwarf planets
are Ceres, Pluto, Eris, Haumea and Makemake.
There are also several large trans-Neptunian
objects that are considered strong dwarf-planet
candidates, including Orcus and Gonggong.
